Montgomery\nLife Experiences’ golf tournament honors Harry H. He won the Patterson Medal\, awarded to the outstanding senior athlete in all sports in 1936. LE’s golf tournament has been held in his memory since 1988. \nIn addition to his dedication to Life Experiences\, Montgomery advanced the work of many civic organizations in his lifetime: the Downtown Raleigh Rotary Club (former President and Paul Harris Fellow); Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts; UNC General Alumni Association (President) and service on the Board of Visitors; United Fund (Chair)\, Lions Club (President)\, Salvation Army (Chair)\, Chamber of Commerce (Chair)\, and Community Chest Fund (President). \nAbout Life Experiences\nVeritas Digital Photography \nCary-based Life Experiences has provided services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) for over 40 years. Founded to provide employment opportunities to adults with I/DD\, today the organization offers scholarships for adults with I/DD to attend daytime enrichment programs\, job training\, and summer camps.
